ABSTRAK

Sectio caesarea merupakan prosedur bedah yang umum dilakukan untuk
melahirkan bayi ketika persalinan normal tidak memungkinkan atau berisiko.
Pasca operasi, pasien sering mengalami nyeri akut yang dapat mengganggu proses
pemulihan. Teknik relaksasi benson adalah metode nonfarmakologis yang terbukti
efektif dalam mengurangi nyeri melalui pendekatan relaksasi dan kepercayaan diri
pasien. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus terhadap Ny. T, pasien
pasca sectio caesarea di Rumah Sakit Harapan Bunda Kota Batam. Asuhan
keperawatan dilakukan secara komprehensif selama tiga hari, meliputi pengkajian,
diagnosa, intervensi, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Intervensi utama adalah
pemberian teknik relaksasi benson selama 10–15 menit setiap hari. Setelah tiga
hari penerapan teknik relaksasi Benson, intensitas nyeri yang dialami Ny. T
menurun dari skala 6 (nyeri sedang) menjadi skala 2 (nyeri ringan). Pasien
menunjukkan peningkatan kenyamanan, kemampuan beraktivitas, dan penurunan
ekspresi nyeri seperti meringis. Hasil ini mendukung temuan sebelumnya bahwa
relaksasi benson efektif sebagai terapi nonfarmakologis dalam mengurangi nyeri
pasca operasi. Teknik ini dapat menjadi alternatif yang aman dan mudah
diterapkan dalam praktik keperawatan, terutama untuk pasien post-sectio
caesarea.
