ABSTRAK

Kecemasan merupakan salah satu masalah psikologis yang dapat dialami lansia akibat perubahan fisik, psikologis, dan social selama proses penuaan. Salah satu intervensi nonfarmakologis yang dapat membantu mengurangi kecemasan adalah terapi Guided Imagery. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi Guided Imagery terhadap penurunan tingkat kecemasan pada lansia di wilayah kerja UPT Puskesmas Lubuk Baja Kota Batam Tahun 2026.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasi-eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 15 Orang Lansia dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Tingkat kecemasan diukur menggunakan Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) dan Analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata rata tingkat kecemasan sebelum intervensi sebesar 24,33, dan setelah intervensi menurun menjadi 16,00, dengan mean difference 8,333. Hasil uji paired sample t test menunjukkan nilai p=0,000 (p<0,05), sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terapi guided imagery terhadap penurunan tingkat kecemasan pada lansia.Secara teoritis Terapi Guided Imagery terbukti efektif sebagai salah satu intervensi keperawatan non-farmakologis dalam menurunkan Tingkat kecemasan lansia.
