ABSTRAK

Diabetes melitus tipe 2 merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis dengan prevalensi
tinggi yang menimbulkan beban biaya kesehatan cukup besar. Terapi kombinasi
antidiabetes oral banyak digunakan untuk mencapai kontrol glikemik optimal,
namun setiap kombinasi memiliki efektivitas dan biaya yang berbeda. Penelitian ini
bertujuan untuk Mengetahui efektivitas biaya (cost-effectiveness) dari berbagai
kombinasi terapi antidiabetes oral yang memiliki efektivitas tinggi dengan biaya
yang rendah pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 rawat jalan di RSUD Embung
Fatimah Kota Batam tahun 2024. Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif
observasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, berdasarkan data rekam medis
100 pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Analisis dilakukan dengan metode
Average Cost Effectiveness Ratio (ACER) dan Incremental Cost Effectiveness
Ratio (ICER). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Efektivitas biaya terapi
antidiabetic oral kombinasi pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 berdasarkan nilai ACER dan ICER kombinasi Metformin + Glimepiride merupakan kelompok terapi yang paling cost effective dibandingkan terapi kelompok lainnya dengan hasil ACER sebesar Rp. 952,74,- dan nilai ICER paling rendah sebesar Rp. 174,52.
Dengan demikian, bahwa kombinasi Metformin + Glimepiride adalah pilihan terapi yang paling cost-effective dibandingkan kombinasi lain, karena mampu memberikan efektivitas lebih tinggi dengan biaya lebih rendah.
