TABLET MELOXICAM GENERIK DAN GENERIK

MENGGUNAKAN SPEKTROFOTOMETRI UV VIS

ABSTRAK
Meloxicam merupakan obat antiinflamasi nonsteroid (OAINS) yang digunakan
pada terapi osteoartritis dan rheumatoid arthritis, namun kelarutannya yang rendah
dapat memengaruhi disolusi dan bioavailabilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan
membandingkan mutu fisik dan profil disolusi tablet meloxicam generik dan
generik bermerek sesuai Farmakope Indonesia Edisi VI. Uji meliputi keseragaman
bobot, kekerasan, kerapuhan, waktu hancur, serta disolusi menggunakan alat tipe II
dalam medium dapar fosfat pH 7,5 pada suhu 37 ± 0,5 °C dan kecepatan 75 rpm,
dengan analisis spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang 362 nm. Hasil
menunjukkan kedua sediaan memenuhi syarat mutu fisik dengan kekerasan rata
rata 7,01 kgf untuk generik dan 5,91 kgf untuk generik bermerek, kerapuhan <1%,
serta waktu hancur <15 menit. Pada uji disolusi, lebih dari 90% meloxicam terlarut
pada menit ke-45 dan >98% pada menit ke-60, sehingga memenuhi syarat
farmakope. Disimpulkan bahwa mutu fisik dan profil disolusi tablet meloxicam
generik dan generik bermerek setara sehingga keduanya dapat dijadikan pilihan
terapi yang sebanding bagi masyarakat maupun tenaga kesehatan.
