ABSTRAK

INTISARI
Kurang energi kronik (KEK) merupakan keadaan saat ibu mengalami kekurangan makanan yang berlangsung lama (kronis) sehingga menimbulkan Komplikasi yang umum terjdi diantarany hyperemesis gravidarum, anemia, keguguran dengan (LILA) ≤ 23 cm (Kementerian Kesehatan RI, 2013). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pola makan terhadap kejadian kekurangan energi kronik pada ibu hamil di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Lubuk Baja Kota Batam. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 93 ibu hamil yang diambil dengan non-probability Dengan teknik consecutive sampling kemudian mengisi lembar kuesioner Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) untuk melihat pola makan responden (jumlah, jenis, frekuensi ), dari 93 di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Lubuk Baja, mayoritas ibu hamil yang memiliki pola makan baik dan tidak KEK sebanyak 63 orang (100%), sedangkan yang KEK tidak ada (0%). Di sisi lain, ibu hamil yang memiliki pola makan kurang dan tidak KEK tidak ada (0%), sedangkan yang KEK sebanyak 30 orang (100%).Berdasarkan uji Chi-Square didapatkan hasil P-Value 0,000 dimana P-Value α<0,05 dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan Hα diterima. Maka disimpulkan ada Hubungan Pola Makan Dengan Kejadian Kekurangan Energi Kronik (KEK) Pada Ibu Hamil Di Wilayah Kerja UPTD Puskesmas Lubuk Baja Kota Batam Tahun 2024.
