ABSTRAK

Inflamasi atau disebut peradangan merupakan kejadian yang sering terjadi pada
setiap orang. Daun kemiri (Aleurites moluccanus) diketahui mengandung senyawa
flavonoid, seperti swertisin dan 2′′-O-rhamnosylswertisin, yang diduga memiliki
aktivitas antiinflamasi. Penelitian menggunakan 4 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu
kontrol positif (natrium diklofenak), kontrol negatif (Na-CMC), fraksi n- heksana
(200 mg/KgBB), dan fraksi etil asetat (200 mg/KgBB). Pengukuran volume
edema kaki diukur secara berkala hingga 6 jam menggunakan jangka sorong
digital. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan persentase inhibisi edema kontrol negatif
64,13%, kontrol positif 38,91%, fraksi n-heksana 39,99%, fraksi etil asetat
39,82%, Fraksi etil asetat menunjukkan aktivitas antiinflamasi yang lebih baik
dibandingkan fraksi n-heksana, tetapi masih lebih tinggi persenan kontrol positif.
